There is no national strategy in a sense of official document of any national level institute or authority. At the same time there are number of initiatives started by the ministries. The Ministry of Education and Culture has launched researches to make an overview of the situation dealing with validation of non-formal and informal learning in Hungary. The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour through the National Council of Adult and Vocational Education has announced a series of applications, among others a research on non-formal adult learning.
